Colombo

I wander thro' each High Tea buffet,
Near where the Colombo ladies do flock.
And mark in every face I meet
Marks of hastiness, marks of hunger.
In every plate of every Man,
In every plate of every Woman,
In every Salad bar: in every Dessert corner,
The overflowing plates full of food
How the Fat ass man grab all the battered prawns
Everytime the waiter fills the dish,
And the five-inch-heels-makeup aunties
Ruin all the carpets of luxury hotel halls
But most thro' High Tea buffets I hear
How the words & accents have changed
From Malli to Malla, Appachchi to Appuchcha
"Long time no see , Anee Panee"
And thus Gluttonous Sinners continue...
